By the Light of the Silvery Moon

This picture may not be in sharp focus on the spider, but I thought the silvery moon peeking from between clouds and shining on its habitat was interesting! An outside light was used to capture the weave of the web.

Shivery, spooky! This would be a great Halloween photo! That moon gives it a boost in the creepiness factor. - Oh, I love that you taught so many people a new word in the last post - gullywasher. It didn't even occur to me that others wouldn't have heard that before. Cool that CDP gives such an opportunity for learning about other cultures.

Now I wish I had saved this one for Halloween!
About the word, "gullywasher," I was in a store yesterday when I overheard someone say it was so humid that we'd probably have another gullywasher by afternoon! We didn't, but I couldn't help but realize how common the term is around here.
